Pearson Engineering

Pearson Engineering At Pearson Engineering we make it easy for farmers to access high quality New Zealand made agricultural equipment that’s fit for use on Kiwi farms.

Pearson Engineering has a history of innovation on the farm. Working on the family farm near Matamata in the early 1970’s Robbie Pearson saw a better way of doing things. Building on his previous foray into front end loader design in 1964 he adapted and built three loaders in 1974. These loaders quickly became the talk of the town and had dealers knocking at his door. This was the dawn of the inno

vative and now famous Quick-Tach Loader. The Quick-Tach won a Merit Award at the National Fieldays the year it was built. It is the forerunner of today’s models. and it didn’t stop with front end loaders. New loader models were developed over time to keep pace with the release of new tractors and new products were added to the range over time. Their range of loaders, farm implements, grader blades and slurry handling equipment have met with outstanding success. The business outgrew its manufacturing site on Firth Street in Matamata in 1981 and moved to its current location in Mangawhero Street. The Pearson Engineering team now pride themselves on their ability to machine and manufacture world class products. Customer satisfaction is a key motivator. The commitment of our dedicated team is what makes Pearson products so successful. The focus of all our staff is service and satisfaction for the end users of our products. Our design and manufacturing system now produces farm implements, grader blades, loaders and effluent handling machinery. We use high quality materials to produce our farm gear. Whether it’s a bale fork, a bull blade, an auger bucket, a front end loader or an effluent spreader you can rely on your Pearson engineered farm equipment for years. It doesn’t matter if your tractor is a current model or not. We can supply the right tractor implements and agriculture equipment to suit. We are proud to offer you a comprehensive warranty on our equipment. Plus when you need parts for your Pearson Engineering farm machinery, we carry a full range in stock. 3 things to know when choosing your next loader!

1. Match it to your tractor
Start with your tractor’s horsepower. A loader needs to be properly matched to the tractor it’s working with. Pearson offers loader options for tractors from 60hp right through to 100hp+.

2. Know your height requirements
Think about where you need to put the load, not just what you need to lift. Maximum lift height and clearance with the bucket dumped vary between loader models, so consider your sheds, feed-out setup, trucks and other everyday jobs.

3. Think about how you’ll use it
The right options can make a big difference day to day. Self-levelling, shock absorption, third service and hydraulic quickhitch locking are all worth considering depending on the implements you run and the work you’re doing.

Choose for the work you actually do and you’ll get a lot more out of your loader.
