How good did these cylinder base clevises turn out! Machined from 350dia solid round 1045, our multi axis machining centers make light work of components like these. 3D modeling, machining, welding and fitting all done in house by our highly trained team. Although we brand ourselves as a gear manufacturing company, hydraulic cylinders of all types and sizes are a daily occurrence in our workshop.

Our ST20Y mill-turn lathe made quick work of these custom adjustable cam gear hubs for Newton Team Racing. These are going on their insane Ford Focus RS time atack car. Designed and manufactured by us to NTR spec and being fitted by Torque Performance Developments.

Drill baby drill! A custom replacement gear set we did for a drill rig gearbox. This time with a replaceable two piece synchronization plate for easy service in the future. Back up and running like new.

Another worm and wheel set out the door, another piece of heavy equipment back up and running. This was an urgent breakdown and getting bronze this size in a hurry isn't easy in our part of the world. We had it air freighted in from europe over a couple of days, meanwhile we got stuck into the worm so we could get it off to heat treatments asap. This worm runs in a heavy recovery winch and is originally from a WW2 recovery vehicle.

Final grinding on a double-handed two start worm shaft. This is the final step in manufacturing after hardening to 60hrc. This machine is our WW2 era J&L 6x36 thread grinder, which after a recent spruce up is running like new.

Quick resurfacing of some chain sheaves in the Harrison Alpha 1760XS teach lathe. We manufacture the sheaves on a regular basis for a brilliant customer of ours and every now and then they come back for some TLC.

Out on site today helping a customer assemble a large SEW winch box. This is dual drive, dual braked unit off of a Kalmar straddle carrier. A regular job we do is to measure and inspect critical tolerances on close fitting or shrink fit drive components. These units often see between 45,000 and 60,000 hours of use before replacement so ensuring surface finishes are correct, as well as checking fits on drive keys and shaft/hub measurements is critical.

Another batch of hydraulic motor stub shafts delivered to a repeat customer. These shafts utilize a proprietary drive spline which required custom machined shaper tooling, designed and manufactured in house. These shafts also required an upgraded drive key and thread detail due to OEM shafts cracking and failing.
