One of the best things about our job is the places we get to install and the customers we deal with. Here's another awesome install from your newly appointed "SEANZ Best Small Solar Company 2026" which we are proud of.

Pretty honoured to be awarded "Best Small Business" at the 2026 SEANZ ( Sustainable Energy Association of New Zealand) awards last night. Another great achievement for the Hawkes Bay! And thanks to my team, suppliers and customers for all your support.

One of the many advantages of choosing us as your solar installer is that every member of our team is a registered electrician. From your initial enquiry and site assessment through to installation and commissioning, you'll be dealing with qualified professionals who have the technical expertise to provide accurate advice on system design, product selection, and expected performance.

Another key advantage is our access to innovative technology that other solar installers don't offer, including the Basis Smart Panel.

The Basis Smart Panel is a next-generation switchboard that combines advanced electrical protection, energy monitoring, and smart home functionality into one streamlined system, all managed from your smartphone or tablet.

Features include:

* 10mA and 30mA RCD protection
* Circuit protection
* Arc fault detection
* Individual circuit energy monitoring
* Smart timers and scheduling
* Real-time notifications and system updates
* Electricity retailer plan monitoring and recommendations to help ensure you're on the most cost-effective power plan

By providing greater visibility and control over your home's energy use, the Basis Smart Panel has the potential to save households hundreds — and in some cases thousands — of dollars each year.

Best of all, it's proudly developed by a New Zealand company.

We often get asked, how are we different from other solar installation companies. Here is just one example.

Being an owner operator company, we know our reputation is on the line and referrals are what help us tick along, thats why we treat every one of our customers installations like its our own home, looking for the best pathways to run cables and spending that extra bit of time to get things right and not just the fastest and easiest way to install.

If you are looking for a quality solar install then get in touch. We take pride in our work.
