Coast Construction is looking for experienced, qualified builders to join our team in Hawke’s Bay.

We’re a growing residential construction company working across quality new builds, renovations, and boutique developments. We’re looking for builders who take pride in their workmanship, work well in a team, and want to be part of a company focused on precision, clear communication, and a high standard of finish.

About the role:

Full-time position
40+ hours per week
Residential building work across Hawke’s Bay
Varied projects including new builds, renovations, and development work
Supportive team environment
Opportunity to be part of a growing local construction company

We’re looking for someone who:

Is a qualified builder
Has strong attention to detail
Can work independently and as part of a team
Takes pride in quality workmanship
Is reliable, professional, and organised
Has a NZ driver’s licence

Progress from one of our outdoor living projects in Haumoana 🔨

We used Purple Heart timber here to handle the Hawke’s Bay weather all year round ☀️🌧️

This stuff is widely considered the toughest hardwood on the planet, it’s incredibly dense and sits at the top of the scale for durability. Because it’s packed with natural resins, it’s basically immune to rot and insects, making it the perfect choice for a build that actually lasts.
