It’s all about doing your bit and that’s what gives Bayly a sense of accomplishment in his roll at Energyworks.

Bayly started as a trade assistant and has been involved in a raft of important, high-profile projects with the company.

With a keen interest in pipelining and skill-set to suit, Bayly has grown to be an integral member of our team. He's just relocated to Taupō as part of our central North Island based fabrication crew, so if you see him around over there, feel free to throw him a 👋🏼.

The Gatekeepers/fabricators/installers 💥

From concept to reality, we’ve recently fabricated, coated and installed this custom 12m long security gate. Black mesh and coated black wire (it’s all in the details), complete with hardware, hiab’d into place and ready to go.

Big pipe, big risk, big reward!

Handling large nominal bore piping requires care, planning, expertise and equipment. Throw in a gradient or change in elevation and the complexity rises.

- 7 tonne pipe strings
- 22 degree embankment
- 22t & 32t excavators

A lot of planning went into the successful installation of these sections from concept to reality:

- A controlled pull test in the Energyworks pipeline yard to 30tonne
- A dry run with specifically weighted concrete blocks
- Game day, successful installation of all pipe strings. 👍
