Nagel’s compact staff of 5 pack a punch in the Taranaki Construction Industry having consulted on many of the regions iconic buildings.
We are looking for an Intermediate or Senior Structural Engineer who has CPEng or is working towards gaining it, who is innovative, wants to achieve, grow, and become an integral part of our Team based in New Plymouth.
Ideally this role is a full time position however depending on the right candidate we are open to an experienced engineer who would like to work part time to enjoy a great work life balance in Taranaki.
This is your chance to begin an exciting journey with Nagel. You will become a core part of the team who are currently or have recently provided engineering expertise to the Taranaki Base Hospital Redevelopment, Greenschool New Zealand, TODD Energy Operations Facility, and many other projects around the region and beyond.
You will need:
A Washington accord degree equivalent in Civil Engineering.
Full membership of Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or the ability to gain it and be a member of IPENZ.
In excess of 5 years’ experience post degree related to structural engineering, with a significant amount gained in New Zealand.
Strong knowledge of structural engineering.
Experience in overseeing projects.
The ability to develop and sustain strong relationships with staff, other consultants, customers, and contractors.
To be motivated, professional, cooperative, and responsive to the needs of the Team and clients.
