Transpower NZ’s latest Energy Security Outlook shows hydro storage is currently well above historic averages at 133%, while there is enough gas generation to provide flexibility when electricity demand is high or renewable energy is low. The outlook also highlights the role of gas stored at Ahuroa Gas Storage in supporting electricity security.

At Clarus, we’re about to begin our annual on‑site skin check programme for kaimahi (staff) across the motu, delivered in partnership with Skin Aware

And the impact is real. Last year:
✅ 318 staff took part
✅ 1 in 6 were referred for follow‑up
✅ 23 skin cancers were identified, including melanoma

We also provide health insurance for our kaimahi, helping people access support if skin cancer is identified.
