Don’t just take our word for it!

In February, we opened our purpose-built Power Accessories Training Centre at our New Plymouth head office.

The centre combines theory, hands-on practice, and certification. Nexans programs are built on three pillars: clear theory, intensive practical training on real cables and accessories, and formal assessment and certification where required.

Connecting the Grid, building skills for the future!

Earlier this year, we opened our purpose-built Power Accessories Training Centre in New Plymouth, equipping installers and jointers build the skills and expertise needed for safer, more reliable networks.
Designed to combine theory, hands-on practice and certification, the training centre gives cable installers and jointers the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver reliable installations in the field.
Built around clear technical learning and practical experience, the training helps reduce installation errors, improve network performance and support a more skilled industry workforce.

So far, more than 14 cable jointers and technicians have completed training with our Nexans Certified Trainer, and we're just getting started! As electrification accelerates, investing in skills and knowledge is critical to building the networks of tomorrow. Through initiatives like our Training Centre, we continue to support the industry with the expertise needed to power a more connected electrified future.

In May over 1,700 spools have been returned, with over 1,135 of them MOBIWAY™ BOOST!

Year to date, we have had over 13,000 spools been returned, with over 7,500 of them MOBIWAY™ BOOST.

In 2025 we had over 22T of plastic diverted from landfill – will you help us BEAT this goal in 2026 and achieve over 30T of plastic diverted from landfill?

This February, we proudly marked an important step forward for Nexans New Zealand with the opening of our dedicated Power Accessories Training Facility – a step that represents a significant milestone for our business and reflects our commitment to evolving alongside the needs of our customers and partners.

We were thrilled to welcome so many of our customers to the opening day - a fantastic turnout and a strong endorsement of the facility. This achievement would not have been possible without the incredible Nexans New Zealand team and our suppliers, who worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life. A huge congratulations and thank you to everyone involved.

We’re excited about what this means for the future and look forward to continuing to build capability and deliver even greater value to our customers.
