Ever wondered where our shrink wrap goes?

When it comes time to pull the containment off our scaffolds, we’re proud to say that our shrink wrap is collected & recycled through . This means we’re giving our shrink wrap a second life and ensuring that it’s not just single-use. By working with Plasback, we’re able to collect the plastic and recycle it into new products, extending the life of the material and reducing waste.

Plasback's commitment to sustainability ensures that the plastic collected is recycled both in NZ and offshore. Riverlea Contractors collects the plastic from our yard, bales it, and transports it to recycling facilities to be made into new products.

We believe that it’s essential to do our part in protecting the planet, and we’re proud to work with Plasback and Riverlea Contractors to make sure that our shrink wrap doesn’t contribute to waste in landfills or the environment!

Excited to share the news! Our business has become a Toitū net carbon zero certified organization! Our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and making a positive impact on the environment is a top priority. We're proud to be taking the lead in sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment.

As part of this journey, we've added a 20kW solar system consisting of 42 panels to our admin building roof. This system not only powers our new electric vehicles but also our premises. Join us in our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint!

Another successful ‘Christmas @ the Beach’ down at Shearer Reserve, Oakura last weekend.

We’ve been lucky enough to be apart of this local community event since it’s conception 4 years ago.

Rangi, Andy and the crew battled through the wettest December we can remember! 🌧 Nevertheless the stage was built in time to see local artists and performers from Oakura and the Taranaki region strut their stuff in front of a family friendly crowd. Some new acts performing live for the first time combined with some more seasoned pro’s really showcased some of the incredible talent we grow locally.

A great day, made amazing by the many families getting out there to support the event that has had a couple of false starts due to covid.

Best of all, the sun came out and Santa even turned up for a lolly scramble.
Already looking forward to supporting next years event! 🎉
