"We, like a lot of other businesses can never seem to find time to sit down as a team and nut out what we really want to achieve in the business and what direction we want the business to go in.

Our business needed direction – we were growing but didn’t know what area we needed to focus on for the better.

The O2E Business Academy held us accountable EVERY MONTH! We had our dedicated days where we pushed everything else aside and made time for the business, with direction and guidance from Donna and Craig.

We touched on all areas of the business – nothing was too big / too small. It was all tailored to our business.

After every session we had that spark back, that motivation and drive to focus. Then on top of this having Donna and Craig holding us accountable for these actions, there was no excuses

Another fantastic season finished on our O2E Academy.

Its great to be working with such cool business owners who are passionate about continuously improving their businesses for not only themselves, but their staff, customers and suppliers.

Yesterday was the conclusion of Season 4 of the O2E Academy, resulting in six more members graduating from the program.

Season 4 was probably the most diverse season in regards to the different type of businesses involved. There were lots of great discussions and ideas shared between the group. We really enjoyed witnessing the transformation of our members in their leadership, clarity and confidence over the last six months.

One of the key tools we use at the start of an advisory project with our clients is the completion of our Situational Analysis Diagnostic.

We love it when a client can be so honest, open, and realistic as to where their business is at. And then in turn be eager to improve and keep polishing the great businesses they have.

From the diagnostic we start to develop a proactive action plan for everyone to work with.

We all know that 2020 was a weird year. With that weirdness came opportunities.

Myself and Donna of The marketing consultancy were approached by Mandy Gilchrist to help her flush out an opportunity that she saw within her current business.

The end result for Mandy was a brand new business direction of hands on social media management for small businesses. Mandy has now created a new business We Do Social

Last night Mandy held her official launch party for the business, and made it all public.

Donna & I have really enjoyed working with Mandy over the last few months to help her with her business strategy and structure. It' great to see all her hard work and passion come to life.

Some good advice to start the week off. Marketing is one of the things we dive really deep into on our O2E Academy.

We regularly get asked for Marketing help by our Academy attendees There is no quick fix for Marketing, but here are 3 key areas that you should be addressing in order to Market your business more effectively.

1. Know Your Customer - The more you know about your customers the more you are able to speak to them in a language they will understand. Take the time to learn as much as you can about their needs and also their frustration points. Rather than trying to 'sell' to them, demonstrate how your product can make a difference to them.

2. Be consistent - Consistency is key to establishing your brand in the market. Ensure your brand and logos appear consistently. Ensure your marketing message is consistent with your brand and your values. Deliver a consistent approach to your marketing. Advertising channels, social media and websites should be managed strategically and not on an ad hoc basis to ensure you grow credibility reputation and brand trust

3. Excel in Customer Service - Find ways to ensure the customer leaves the transaction positively. What can you do during the purchase cycle that leaves the customer delighted? Invest in the purchasing process. You can spend millions of dollars creating the perfect brand and product but bad customer service can ruin it all instantly.

I love it when my clients take action, and follow through on their promises.

Yesterday we ran workshop with the leadership team at Coastline Interior Linings on understanding personality profiles. They learnt how to understand each other at a deeper level get the best out of each other when on site.

Thanks heaps to Wayne Dellow for facilitating and sharing his extensive knowledge in the area.
