Todays one is from loyal clients of ours Colin and Robyn.

"We met Robert and Donna at their show homes over ten years ago. We had started thinking about how and where we wanted to live once the family had left home - what downsizing and preparing for our third age should look like. We talked with them at length about their show home and how they ran their business. Robert is a straight talker, is very down to earth and proud of the homes and relationships they have built with their clients .

Over the following years, we spent time looking around at different locations and housing styles. Four years ago, we had a partially formed plan of where and how we wanted our retirement to be and decided to revisited Robert at Cavalier Homes.

Before a hammer was even raised, Robert, Donna and their team started our education. They helped us understand and work through our concepts, then managed the resource consents, surveying, council consents and building plans. The huge range of other decisions about colours, styles and finishers came next. Working with Donna on colours and design and Aaron (In House Kitchens - Mastercraft Taranaki) on kitchen design, made these decisions understandable and easy.

As it progressed and we got to stand in the actual building, Braden walked us through each room, answered our questions and discussed changes we thought about making. All of our suggestions were met as opportunities and no problem was unsolvable. Despite the post Covid challenging construction climate, the built when smoothly and was completed on time, although the budget got a bit of a shake-up.

We thank Robert, Donna, Braden, Aaron and all their teams for helping us achieve our warm, energy efficient, low maintenance, easy care home, in the location we love.
