Check out www.blackley.co.nz for more information. Graeme Blackley started contracting in 1960 with a David Brown tractor and a towed excavator doing farm drainage and mowing in the Wairarapa. Graeme and Janice moved to the Manawatu in 1965 and in 1969, they shifted to Stoney Creek Road and established the company's existing depot. rston North City, and is well located to service its rural and urban based clients. Today it comprises a house, offices, workshop and large vehicle park. Since those early days the company has grown, developed, diversified and specialised. Each of the different sections of the company is now supervised by one of Graeme's sons, Steven, Murray and Kevin. We have a wide range of experience and knowledge that we are prepared to share with our clients. Early involvement (at the concept stage) is the best way to utilise what we have to offer, saving time on planning, design and specifying the project.
