My favourite part of the entire building journey – handover day! 🏡✨

Today was a special one. These clients have created a truly beautiful bespoke home, built around their vision and lifestyle. After gathering inspiration from a recently completed home, I had the privilege of bringing their ideas to life from scratch, and then watching our incredible team execute it with care and expertise.

Fast forward to today, and we were able to hand over the keys and celebrate with a glass of wine on their perfectly positioned sun-soaked deck. 🍷☀️

There were definitely a few emotions in the air today. Seeing clients walk into the finished home they’ve dreamed about, planned, and invested so much into is incredibly rewarding.

Moments like these are exactly why I love what I do. Congratulations on your beautiful new home – it’s been a privilege to be part of the journey.

One of the things I love most about my job is the amazing people I get to meet and the relationships that form along the way.

This lovely couple first started their journey by visiting our show home - more than once - because they loved the quality and feel of our homes. From there, the relationship grew, and that connection became a big part of why they chose to build with Signature Homes.

This isn’t their first home or necessarily their forever home, but it will be their foreseeable future home. Together, we’re creating a home they can grow into over time while still being mindful of their budget and what matters most to them.

Building homes is about so much more than plans and pricing - it’s about people. And I’m incredibly excited to be part of this journey with them.

Today was about filling my own cup! One of the biggest takeaways from conference last week was the reminder that “you can’t pour from an empty cup.”

So this morning, before the busy week ahead, my husband and I tackled a half marathon together. It was challenging, rewarding, and exactly what I needed to reset and recharge.

Taking care of ourselves matters, because when we do, we can show up better for our families, our teams, and our clients.

Feeling grateful, re-energised, and ready to give my clients my all again this week!

This big, stunning family home was an absolute pleasure to build, and the master suite is definitely a standout; such a beautiful space and a well-deserved retreat for some pretty amazing homeowners.

Big things starting in central Palmy! 🏡

We’re kicking off a knockdown and rebuild project in the PNCC Medium Density Zone, and it all starts with these old houses and a freshly checkered site ready for transformation.

It’s always exciting to see the beginning of a project like this, a site with history that’s about to make way for something new, modern, and designed for the way people live today. Over the coming months this site will be completely transformed, and we’re looking forward to sharing the journey along the way.

Cladding went on last week at this secondary dwelling in Horowhenua and it’s amazing how quickly a home starts to look “real” at this stage. 🏡

Some investors take a hands-off approach… and then there are the ones who are all in.

I’m currently working with a client who is building two investment homes, and I can honestly say he is the most invested investor I’ve worked with. This week alone has been a big one - colour consult ✔️ kitchen consult ✔️ and multiple conversations with me diving into all the big and small details that bring a home together.

Building (even when it’s an investment) is a process, and the best results always come when clients really lean in.

Today he sent me this photo of all the samples gathered this week, laid out in his current home so he can sit with the decisions and make sure everything works together. And the message that came with it made my day:
“It’s all looking really fabulous.”

Now that everything is coming together, we’re ready to move from preliminary plans into pricing plans, the final step before preparing the all-important fixed price contract.

Big week. Great progress. Exciting things ahead.
