Finally completed another contract for Watts & Hughes. This one is special as we were the first and last contractors on this job. We started from groundwork to turn of key and locking the doors for handover. Very proud of our teams performance.

Cheers to the team who worked on this, Peter, Kennedy, Emori, Lars, Mikaere and Anaru. We appreciate all your guys efforts.

Time to move on to the next one.

Kia ora whanau,

It has been awhile since I have posted up however, I am a builder not a cameraman 😂, i will try and update more though.

Here are a couple action shots of some of our many brothers at the uhi. We have been through a fair bit of staff over the past year but we continue to keep pushing and get it done. Also grateful to have new leaders develop within the uhi and find others out there too.

Currently working three sites, one in Wairoa one in Palmerston north and the last one in Wellington.

Let's get it.

Kia Ora,

Not really posted in a while however, it is our second year anniversary coming up on June the 3rd so it is about time we did.

It has been an ever changing industry in the last two years with Covid, material supply shortages, highly skilled labor shortage and more. I would like to say I am really proud of our current team as we have navigated deep waters and have still managed to produce excellent carpentry, pushed through difficult scenarios and achieved as a team.

A big player in those achievements is Cullen Pohatu who is leaving our team and moving to Auckland. This guy earned our most improved apprentice last year and has also stepped up into a Foreman roll over the past five months running a team of four. We are proud of your achievements and wish the best for you on your construction journey.

Nga Mihi,

Kia ora whanau and friends.

I hope you all have a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

We are grateful as we have had a very busy year with many opportunities that have come our way. A big thank you to our Uhi build whanau past and present and a big thank you to the clients who have given us the opportunities to push forward.

We look forward to the new year and the development within our team to progress further.

Nga mihi, TeAtau

Just want to welcome on board our new foreman, Matene Te Aho. Another qualified carpenter who will help lead our teams through any challenge that may arise. With Matene's all around carpentry finess, residential knowledge and my commercial knowledge it makes 2021 a year to really look forward to 😁

The Uhi have been waiting for this opportunity to work with you and we are all very excited to have you on board.
