At 3am most Saturdays, Terrance Nota is already out running hills with a head torch on.
This week, the 1M Service Technician is in South Africa preparing to take on the Comrades Marathon — an 85km ultramarathon with a 2,000m climb that’s regarded as one of the toughest endurance races in the world.
A few years ago, Terrance had never run before. After a minor heart attack and health scare, he decided it was time to make some changes for himself and his family.
Now he’s preparing to take on the race for the third time.
💬 “He approaches work the same way he approaches training – prepared, dependable and willing to keep going when things get tough.” – Byron Keppler, Head of Maintenance, 1M
Best of luck in Durban, Terrance. The whole 1M team will be cheering you on. 🧡
