🚗💥 BMW 335i Wagon — Full Inspection & Repairs at HIGHSPEK!

This BMW 335i Wagon came into HIGHSPEK with a broken axle, but the owner also asked us to give the car a thorough inspection.

As always, we work within the customer's budget while making sure we inspect the vehicle properly. 🔍🔧

During our inspection, we found an oil leak from the secondary oil cooler, along with various other faults that we're now working through and attending to.

And yes… this BMW was SUPER LOW! 😅 But we still managed to get it safely onto the HIGHSPEK hoist! 💪

Holden L98 Bottom-End Inspection 🔧🔥

Before this Holden L98 finds its new home in a BMW, we’re giving the bottom end a proper inspection. 💪

Suspension and gearbox out, clutch kit and flywheel removed, sump off, and onto the engine stand she goes! 🔩

Now we can spin it around and get a good look inside — checking the big-end bearings and main bearings before we trust this V8 in its new BMW home. 👀

Better to inspect it now than find a problem after the engine is installed! 😎

After taking the Audi 3.0L Supercharged for a test drive, we knew our custom Z-Pipe had done exactly what the customer wanted! 🔥

The wife wanted classy with a touch of performance, while the husband wanted raw and loud… so we found the perfect balance! 😎

A deep, clean rumble on startup, idle and cruising — then put your foot down and this Audi opens up and roars like an animal! 🦁💨

🔥 CUSTOM Z-PIPE — HIGHSPEK STYLE! 🔥

We built our own custom version of a Z-pipe exhaust setup for our BMW 335i with the legendary N54 twin-turbo engine. 💨🔧

The goal? Better flow, improved performance potential, and a much more aggressive exhaust note. 🎶🔥

The result was awesome — giving the N54 a sound that gets much closer to the deep, crisp character of an N55 single-turbo setup. 😈

Now we’re taking what we learned from Design #1 and fitting our second-generation Z-pipe design to an Audi 3.0 supercharged V6.

Different engine. Different setup. Same HIGHSPEK philosophy — design it, build it, test it, improve it. 💪🔩

1990 BMW 325i vs 2018 BMW M4 🔥

Over 20 years of BMW engineering evolution in one comparison! 🤯

2018 BMW M4 in at HIGHSPEK for its 40,000 km service and to diagnose a brake concern. 🔧🏁

While carrying out the inspection, it's hard not to appreciate the incredible engineering underneath this machine. From the front-mounted engine oil cooler, multi-link front suspension, and electric power steering, to the upper and lower control arms with stabilizer bars—every component is built with performance in mind.

The large exhaust system for the legendary S55 twin-turbo engine, the sophisticated rear suspension, and the differential cooling system all showcase why the M4 is such an impressive driver's car.

This Mitsubishi Lancer came into HIGHSPEK after the owner had it for around 3–4 months. Before adding performance upgrades, it's always a smart idea to understand the condition and history of your vehicle. We started with a full diagnostic scan and a comprehensive inspection to identify any issues and make sure everything is safe and reliable. We're also replacing the rear brakes to keep the car stopping as well as it goes.

Once the vehicle is mechanically sound, we'll move on to the exciting part—a custom tune, exhaust modifications, and a cold air intake to improve performance, throttle response, and give it a more enjoyable driving experience.
