The original plan was to build a retaining wall in front of the fence. But with permission from the neighbouring property (and council) we were able to build the retaining wall in a way where we could re use the existing fence.
Gaining the client almost 10 square meters of land at no expense of the neighbours.

I don't get dripped on inside the garage, I no longer see rotting timber & the flat path on the outside means I don't have to worry about slipping on the slope any longer. With one obstacle after another excavating under a house to fit a 2.5t digger underneath so we could dig 3.6m holes for a retaining wall was nothing short of a spectacle

Once we had the house level the client was happy that their doors no longer jam
