Check this out! — a sneak peek at our new Transtak 8 Bin Trailer.

We're really excited about this one. Over the last six months or so, we’ve worked through the full product development process, and I’m stoked with where we’ve landed.

This trailer has been designed specifically for bulk transport of fruit bins, with the Australian citrus industry front of mind. We’ve worked closely with industry experts and growers to develop something practical, efficient, and fit for purpose.

While citrus has been the starting point & is the initial focus, we see much wider potential for this trailer — including the New Zealand apple industry and other horticultural markets overseas.

Launching soon, with more to come. Stay posted — we’ll have footage of these trailers operating on the ground in Australia very soon!

Great few days running pre-harvest trials with our Transtak bin trailers in Mildura citrus blocks

Always rewarding giving growers the chance to try them in their own orchards and discuss different approaches to moving bins.

Short-Term Workshop Role – 6–8 Weeks (Motueka)
Transtak Limited is looking for a reliable, hands-on person for a 6–8 week fixed-term role helping with sandblasting, painting, and assembly of our orchard bin trailers.
This is a practical, workshop-based job suited to someone who enjoys physical work and takes pride in quality finishing.
The role includes:
• Sandblasting steel components
• Spray painting / assisting with painting
• Assembly of bin trailers and components
• General workshop support as required
What we’re looking for:
• Practical, mechanically minded
• Experience with painting & sandblasting ideally.
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and safety-focused
• Able to hit the ground running
Details:
Based in Motueka
6–8 week fixed-term role
Competitive pay (based on experience)

Rainy day load-out in Motueka — but that didn’t stop 9 more Transtak Bin Trailers heading off to some of NZ’s top kiwifruit growers in the Bay of Plenty.

Always proud to support the kiwifruit industry, and grateful for the ongoing demand driven by growers and the wider Zespri supply chain. The pace of innovation and investment in this sector is huge, and it’s great to see our trailers playing a small part in keeping everything moving smoothly at harvest time.
