Working Dog attending site for the first time at our Cromwell project which is getting started next week. Lovely meeting our Clients onsite for their inspiring 2 bedroom place with almost as much room for the toys as for living! 2 bedroom homes are in short supply and can take a person from living alone, with a pet or even two children for some time before that 3rd bedroom is needed. By building their garage warm as well, there’s always a spot for a trundle bed for friends and family to bunk down as well.

We're making great progress on our latest high-performance build.
The Proclima Intello airtight membrane installation is almost complete. Rondo ceiling battens are installed ready for the saveBoard ceiling and wall linings. The saveBoard linings are manufactured in Hamilton from recycled Tetra Pak packaging which fits in well with our focus on sustainability. You will notice that the walls have 45 x 45mm horizontal battens over the Intello membrane. These battens form our service cavity which is also insulated. All our services run inside this service cavity meaning there will be no frozen pipes over winter in this Warm House!

We're quite excited to be using saveBoard in our builds. We're constantly searching for the most sustainable products for our Warm House homes.

An interesting detail - the saveBoard on the production line in this TV segment is our actual order being produced for our current build at Northlake, Wanaka.

Just like a windproof jacket, the airtight layer keeps the draughts away allowing the insulation to do what it does best - keeping you warm and cozy in Winter and cool and comfortable in Summer!

A critical component of our high-performance construction system, the airtight layer works in conjunction with the ventilation system, the airtight triple glazing and our double insulation layer to create one of our Warm Houses.
