Hey, did you know your bank could actually help you go solar, sometimes even at 0% interest?

Right now in NZ:

• Westpac - up to $50,000 interest-free for 5 years;
• ANZ / ASB / BNZ - about 1% loans up to $80,000;
• Kiwibank - they even give contributions toward solar upgrades.

With power prices going up, a solar system can pay for itself in around 5 years, and with these deals, it’s even faster!!

Basically, you could start saving from day one without needing a big upfront payment.

Just thought I’d share - it’s a smart move for the future! 🌿

⚡ Electricity prices in New Zealand are rising again!

Recent reports show Kiwi households are likely to see another increase in power bills in 2026, after electricity prices already jumped about 12% in 2025.

Energy experts say prices could rise around 5 - 7% this year, mainly due to increasing costs for power lines, grid upgrades, and infrastructure investment needed to keep the electricity network reliable.

Some households have even received notices of 10 - 20% bill increases, depending on their provider and region.

At Go Green Solar, we help Kiwi households take control of their energy and reduce their reliance on the grid. Solar and battery systems can provide greater energy independence and long-term protection from rising power costs.

Very proud to share this commercial solar installation we completed at the Waste Water Treatment Plant in Raglan.

Like every great project, this one came with a few obstacles, but challenge is part of the journey.
With strong planning, teamwork, and determination, we worked through every detail and delivered a system we’re truly proud of.

Huge gratitude to our incredible team who showed up, problem-solved, and made it happen.
Projects like this remind us why we do what we do.

And this one felt even more special - because it was completed at home, here in Whaingaroa 🌿☀️

- The system is made from 358 Solar Panels (161kW) 2x 110 kW Sungrow Inverters, and this system will produce 231 00 MWh annually.
