After meeting with the client and discussing the options in retaining wall materials, it was decided to use the Firth Ezi wall. While these blocks can be laid on compacted fill, we like to lay them in a reinforced concrete footing to stop any settlement issues, we also use a flexible glue to lock the blocks together to give security, these blocks wont move once laid.
The design/layout was drafted and shown to the client and after a few tweaks, this was the layout they went with.
We are in the final stages with the planting plan so we will bring you some more photos once planted out.
