Terra Firma Mining Ltd and Reefton Engineering were proud to support Sophie Fleming as she represented Buller at the Under-16 Mainland Basketball Competition. Living rurally means extra travel and costs, so we were pleased to be able to help talented young athletes pursue their goals.

Congratulations to Sophie and the Buller U16 Girls on an outstanding tournament, finishing 4th in the South Island Mainland Basketball Competition. Well done!

Reefton turned it on for the annual classic car show. Terra Firma Mining Ltd and Reefton Engineering had the 2900 on display accompanied by the old Model T truck.

James Duncan from Hydraulink New Zealand and Reefton Engineering apprentice Levi Docherty had the BBQ going raising money for Hato Hone St John Reefton.

We are seeking an experienced tradesman (mechanic or fitter) to join our team at Reefton Engineering. Successful candidates will have a safe work ethic, be keen to work in our high-performing team, and enjoy varied and challenging work. All applicants must be physically fit and hold a Full NZ driver licence.

Preference may be given to applicants who have:
· Heavy engineering experience
· Welding fabrication
· General automotive repairs and maintenance
· Hydraulic experience

This position will be based in Reefton.

Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or hold a valid NZ work visa.

Thanks to Terra Firma Mining Ltd and Reefton Engineering for being maintenance superheroes and offering to keep our equipment in tip top shape for free!

This week The Real Strim Shady (a.k.a scrub bar #4 donated by Friends of Waiuta) had a spa day (a.k.a service) in time for our next working bee on Saturday.

Reefton Engineering is proud to support our local community down at Reefton Area School.

It’s awesome to see the students putting their new barista skills into practice and creating such a great Friday morning coffee spot. Huge thanks to everyone at the school for the work they do, and we’re glad we could help contribute towards supplies.

If you’re around 8:30 - 9:30 am on a Friday morning, pop in and grab a coffee made by the students — they’re pretty good!

The Reefton team hosted a delegation of 25 people from Rua Gold - Reefton Operations, West Coast Regional Council, Buller District Council, Grey District Council and NZ Civil Defence today at the Reefton Engineering workshop to review some of Terra Firma Mining Ltd's equipment and capability as part of a workshop on the Auld Creek project. Alex Mayhead and Ryan Fleming were on hand to brief the group and answer questions on our capabilities and range of mining equipment.
