Meet Mary, our Quantity Surveyor here at NCB.
Mary has always been drawn to numbers, problem solving, and working with people, so Quantity Surveying turned out to be a natural fit. No two projects are the same, and that variety is a big part of what keeps her engaged. There's always something new to learn and a new challenge to work through.
At NCB, she's been involved in the full quoting process from start to finish, from the drawings and specifications through to pricing and building her knowledge with each new project. For Mary, that continuous growth is one of the most rewarding parts of the role.
She loves that the building industry is grounded and practical, and that the work she does contributes to real homes and spaces that people actually live in and enjoy. She's also quick to mention the team, describing everyone as friendly, supportive, and genuinely great to work with.
Outside of work, Mary keeps life full. You'll find her at the gym, out running, baking, heading to the beach, or exploring somewhere new. She also values her Christian faith and the time she spends with friends and family.
