Portstar Plastics Ltd is based in Ruawai, producing rotational moulding plastic parts for a range of industries including electrical, wastewater, agricultural, marine and retail.

This family owned and operated business employs 15 staff should we leave out staff number as this was bumped up from medium category and impressed the judges with the level of staff involvement in the judging process as well as all levels of business operation.

This dedicated team along with the adoption of LEAN processes has seen a dramatic increase in productivity in challenging times in the industry.

Portstar is now manufacturing 1100 litre rainwater tanks.
These are available now from our Ruawai factory.
They are designed to AS/NZS 4766:2020 tank standards.
The tanks are made from food grade polymer suitable for the storage of drinking water.
Tanks come with a 450mm vented lid, a 32mm threaded outlet and are available in 4 colours:
Beige, Mountain Blue, Mist Green and Heritage Green.
Dimensions:
Height: 1920mm Width: 940mm Weight: 33kgs
Price $595 plus GST picked up from Ruawai.
Delivery at an extra charge can be arranged.
