Hi friends !! some of you know I have to move out of my cowshed,, I am looking for something similar where i can set up again off grid, where my band can practice , where i can do a bit of engineering and run my forge and make some more knives and swords,, I have my own power with solar and batteries,, farm water would be nice,, I don't mind doing the odd welding repair to help out wherever i go,, I would consider another old cowshed or woolshed or barn that I can fix up to suit my needs, I will respect your privacy as you would respect mine,, Im a handy guy to have around with a wide range of skills,, Please send me a message if you have something I could come look at,, anywhere in a 50k radius or so of Hamilton,, long term, possibly buy one day ?? please share friends,,

I havent been able to get my workshop moved yet as i have been a bit busy with the band and other things, but i am close to getting the workshop set up again and will post up some new knifemaking content, until then please enjoy the band and go follow us on FB, Hugo and The Hurricanes !!

Its been a while,, sorry,, I am still working on getting my new shed ready to move my tools too,, all thats missing now is a bigger inverter for my solar as Im off grid and it takes a bit of solar to run a welder,, but close now,, got enough battery storage, 2 more panels coming soon and ordering a 6000w inverter shortly,, so it will be knives and swords made with sunlight, !!

With the power hammer I wanted to push my boundaries a bit so , this is the result,, 11 layer Cable and bandsaw blade, damascus, first i made some cable damascus and cut 6 pieces and stacked with 5 pieces of bandsaw blade,, This is the first time i have done a stack this big with 2 different metals, i had some issues with the forge weld but all in all i am very pleased with the outcome,, guard is brass and the handle Australian Blackwood with stainless pins,, tip to guard is 14 inches or 350 mm, with 500mm overall,,
