Eco2Energy is looking for a trade-qualified Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team in Taupō.

If you are a reliable professional with at least 5 years of experience and a practical, hands-on approach, we want to hear from you. This role covers a diverse range of systems, including dairy farm refrigeration, commercial units, truck refrigeration, walk-in chillers/freezers, CO₂ water heating, and glycol chiller systems.

📍 Based in Taupō | Full-time role | Monday to Friday (with rotating on-call weekend work)

The Eco2Energy team has been busy on the road this week, installing glycol chillers on dairy farms across the central North Island.

First stop: Atiamuri. Then it was on to Whakamārū and Taupō.

Our CO₂ glycol chillers are designed to help farmers cool milk quickly and consistently to 3–4°C, while also generating free 85°C hot water for the shed.

That means reliable milk cooling, hot water and energy efficiency all working together. Now that's cool!

What a week at Fieldays! 🐄❄️

A huge thanks to everyone who stopped by the Eco2Energy site for a yarn.

We had some great conversations with farmers about hot water, milk cooling, energy use, and what the dairy shed of the future could look like.

Our new CO₂ glycol chiller was a real talking point, especially for farmers looking for fast milk cooling, reliable, free 85°C hot water and lower power use.

Great to have Hon Louise Upston MP stop by the Eco2Energy site at Fieldays🙌

Louise visited us at Fieldays last year too, so it was fantastic to welcome her back and show how far Eco2Energy has come in 12 months.

We loved the chance to talk CO₂ hot water, glycol cooling, and practical ways to help dairy farmers reduce power use sustainably on farm.
