Dellta Contractors was formed in 2014 to provide high quality, reliable and professional steel fixing and reinforcing services to local construction firms. Operated by Mark Hammond (Director, Operations Manager) and Cherie Hammond (Director, Business Manager), they previously traded along with family as Hunters Contractors (New Zealand) Limited and held a extremely strong reputation amongst their
clientele for ten years before. In 2011 they temporarily relocated to Western Australia after securing subcontract work on the Gorgon and Wheatstone projects. Prior to returning to New Zealand, work was also completed on the Perth Children's Hospital. Since our return and rebirth as Dellta Contractors, we have been at the helm of many large projects, including many of the bridges in the Waikato Expressway, Waikeria Prison Extension, Mckayto Peka Peka, Peka Peka to Otaki and the Queensgate Shopping Centre Extension. Dellta Contractors are very pleased to also have extended their reach to New South Wales where, in early 2021, we worked with Holcim on the Inland Rail project. Currently Dellta Contractors on the Wairari Water and Tauhara Geothermal Power Projects. Both beneficial and cutting-edge projects which aim to benefit the local and broader communities/Dellta Contractors main financial strength stems from its low operational overheads. The Directors hold a wide range of skills and attributes including financial business planning and budgeting, marketing, IT, managerial and construction relevant industry experience.
