Rangitanuku Project update..stage 1 is nearing it's completion..back door installed..Gib all done..tiler has started in the bathroom..plasterer starts tomorrow. Massive pivot front door arrived..underfloor insulation still in progress but it's not an urgent job so is being done during down time. Stage 2 was started in the weekend when the client went mad with enthusiasm...kitchen removed and some demo done lol..the spaces are really starting to emerge and give an idea of the homes new makeup..it's been a frosty couple of weeks 🥶🥶

Joinery too..
The whole front looks different now which is cool to see. Booking inspections has become an art..seriously it's a nightmare over here. Looking good though and the unseen prep is giving way to progress you can actually see.

And the 'she's got good bones'..that also isn't applicable 🤣..thankfully they're being rectified as we find them..she'll feel a lot better once we've dismantled and put her back together ❤️

We've been busy on site at the Rangitanuku Project but most of the progress has been underground lately. Craig has been scuttling around on his stomach digging holes with his wee shovels and trowel. The soil was removed and then wheelbarrowed out the back into a paddock.
Today we replaced the removed soil with 5 cubic metres of concrete.
The concrete pump husband and wife team were amazing and I'd recommend them. I'll add their business name later when I can remember what it was. The shiny new concrete truck and driver were also great.
Definitely a landmark stage and Craig is pleased to have it done.
