Two very distinguished gentlemen in our local community; Aaron Haddon, from Aaron Haddon Builders, one of Te Aroha townships original building industry men and an incredible supporter of our local sports team's and, as we see here, our local Fire Brigade.
The other gentleman is our esteemed Fire Chief David Mangin, who has been a consistent volunteer member of the local brigade since he was a teenager.
Other than looking incredibly dashing, both men should be celebrated for their commitment to our local community for there voluntary and supportive efforts. Te Aroha A, P & H Show celebrate both of these men; Aaron Haddon for his incredible support of our show and David Mangin who will be competing on the day of the Show 2026 alongside other waterway combatants in the Annual Fire Fighters Waterways Competitions.

14 years ago today Matt Dowling commenced work as a labour for my business; Aaron Haddon Builders Limited.

Matt went on to be an apprentice builder and then onto becoming a tradesman.

Matt took on the challenge with open arms and now is one of the most valuable members of our team.

Everyone who knows Matt will know that he is an extremely hard worker and takes extreme pride in his work.

I treat Matt as though he is my own son and have loved all the laughs and adventures we have had along the way, and trust me there has been quite a few!!!

Thank you Matt for all your hard work over the years it doesn't go unnoticed.

Well we can safely say that we have created an entertainers paradise with this 250 square metre decking Area.
As well as modernizing this 30 year old house with a new roof, cladding, and aluminum Joinery has brought it back upto a very smart and modern style house

Just a slight change in appearance and a way better way to utilize the space.
Another couple of days battling the elements and we would've finished laying the 2000m of kwila decking

Tonight the Te Aroha Volunteer Fire Brigade had the pleasure of thanking Aaron Haddon for his generous donation and incredible support of our crew.
Aaron Haddon Builders Limited recently celebrated its 30th birthday and as part of marking this milestone, Aaron chose to give back to the community he’s been part of for so long.

We’re truly grateful for his kindness and for taking the time to come down this evening so we could thank him in person. Congratulations on 30 years in business, Aaron - and thank you for helping us continue to serve Te Aroha.
