Last night, between 8pm and 7am (14/06/26), our vans were broken into in our locked yard on Rewi Street and tools were stolen.

Yes, insurance may cover some of the cost, but it doesn’t cover the lost time, disruption, excess, paperwork, or the lost day of work for our team.

We as business owners deserve better. Our boys who turn up every day and work hard deserve better. Our town deserves better.

We should be able to leave our vans locked, in a locked yard, without worrying about thieves helping themselves to the tools we rely on to make a living.

If anyone saw anything suspicious between 8pm and 7am or has CCTV footage that could help, please get in touch.

This isn’t just petty crime. It affects local businesses, local workers, and the wider community. Enough is enough.

Not your everyday build 🔨

This extension is going up on a traditional timber floor system, something you don’t see as often these days with most homes now built on concrete slabs.

It’s a good reminder that solid building isn’t just about modern methods, it’s about having the knowledge and skill to do it all and do it well.

Even better, it’s a chance to pass those skills on. Teaching our apprentices these foundations means the next generation of builders are just as capable.
