We're proud to be sponsoring the 2026 Girls in Infrastructure event at FMG Stadium today.

Around 90 students from 17 Waikato high schools are getting hands-on experience and exploring career opportunities across the infrastructure sector.

Supporting and inspiring the next generation of wāhine leaders is an important part of helping build a strong future for our industry and our communities.

🗓Today, we’re proudly celebrating Pink Shirt Day at Waipā Networks.

Pink Shirt Day is all about standing together against bullying and creating workplaces and communities built on kindness, inclusion, and respect.

Our team marked the day by wearing pink, sharing lunch together, and taking time to connect. Sometimes, the small moments of support and connection can make the biggest difference.

Good news, Waipā! Your latest power bill discount is here.

Waipā Networks customers will have started seeing their next electricity discount appear on power bills from late April. This round of discounts will return about $3 million in total to local homes and businesses.

You don’t need to apply for your discount. If your property was connected to our network and registered with an electricity retailer on 23 April, the discount will be credited automatically through your retailer.

Look out for “Waipā Networks Discount” (or similar) on your April or May power bill.
