They are combining their car yards, service bays, and showrooms into one big modern new premises.
Stage one — demolition — is now underway!

A bold new chapter for this original Tekapo home!

This much-loved property has stood the test of time — and now it’s had a stunning modern makeover.

With a complete exterior facelift featuring a smart blend of Weathertex and iron, the home now has a sleek, architectural edge while still feeling warm and inviting. Inside, you’ll find timber floors, a designer kitchen, and effortless indoor-outdoor flow onto a generous decking area and covered alfresco space with Louvertec overhead.

Huge shout out to our Foreman Josh and his team — their attention to detail and workmanship shines through in every part of this renovation.

And thank you to Silva Studio Architecture Design for your creative vision and collaboration — always a pleasure working with you.

We waved goodbye to this smart-looking new transportable home as it left our yard this morning, heading off to its forever home 🛻💨

Big thanks to the awesome team at Heavy & House Haulage for their hard work, precision, and skill in getting it safely on its way — always a pleasure working with you!

These homes usually sneak off under the cover of darkness in the very early hours of the morning, so it’s a real treat to catch a glimpse of one hitting the road in daylight. 🚚🏠

🏔️ Architecturally Bespoke Alpine Retreat — Where Innovation Meets Escape 🛷🔥

We were incredibly lucky to take on this stunning alpine ski retreat, designed as the ultimate escape from the hustle of everyday life. Built for amazing clients with vision and creativity, this home pushes the boundaries of innovation, craftsmanship, and mountain living.

Designed as a space to unwind and reconnect, this bespoke build includes:
🔸 Solid hardwood flooring
🔸 Plywood walls and ceilings with striking negative detailing
🔸 Recycled kauri feature walls adding warmth and texture
🔸 2 spacious bedrooms downstairs, with 2 bunk rooms upstairs — plenty of room for extended family and friends
🔸 A spectacular Pinor Room (indoor/outdoor) with barn sliders on one side and a cantilevered tiled door that opens to become an awning on the other side
🔸 Two fireplaces for cosy winter nights after a day on the slopes

This was a technically complex build — made possible by a real team effort lead by Braden the Foreman and clients who truly understood and embraced the detail behind great design.
