You’ve read the articles.

You know your current system isn’t performing.

But when it comes to choosing a replacement, where do you actually start?

Most facility managers tell us the hardest part isn’t the purchase decision, it’s narrowing down the options without wasting time on quotes for systems that aren't right for them.

That’s why we built our air compressor selector.

By answering a few questions about your operation, you can get a recommended system shortlist in minutes.

Is your compressed air system a hidden risk to your food safety audit?

In food and beverage processing, a slight pressure drop doesn't just slow down production; it can compromise fill accuracy, ruin seal integrity, and lead to costly product rejections.

Our latest guide dives into the technical essentials of sizing a system that meets ISO 8573-1 standards while handling peak production surges.

Don't wait for a failed batch to find out your compressor is undersized. Read the full guide: https://ap1.hubs.ly/y0SMbC0

One of the most common things we see on-site?

A compressor that’s outgrown the job it was originally sized for.

It rarely shows up as one major failure. More often, it’s rising power bills, pressure drop across the line or equipment not performing the way it should.

We’ve just put together a new blog on the warning signs to look out for and why getting the sizing right early can save a lot of headaches later on.

Worth a read for anyone in food & beverage, engineering, manufacturing, or construction 👇

Before the colder months put extra strain on your systems, make sure your piping is sized right ❄️

If your compressed air lines are undersized, your compressors have to work harder to maintain pressure, quietly driving up energy usage over time.

That’s exactly why we built the Piping Calculator: a free tool to help engineers and facility managers size systems properly before it becomes a costly issue.

When precision matters, the right partnership makes all the difference 🤝

We recently worked with Aquaheat to install a high-spec compressed air system for the new Rolleston College Science and Technology labs - delivering clean, dry air across multiple pieces of equipment.

Featuring Pneupress stainless steel piping, a complete compressor and filtration package, and a custom enclosure, the system gives staff and students the reliable performance they need to work safely and efficiently.

Building an industrial oxygen system? Remember: Purity drives price.

Most industrial uses (welding/water treatment) only need 93-95% purity. Going for 99% unnecessarily can skyrocket your capital and operating costs.

Check out our guide on sizing your system and protecting it with the right feed air quality:

Discover key tips for selecting the perfect industrial oxygen generator system, focusing on requirements, output, and air quality for high performance.

Think about your daily operations... how much of it relies on compressed air?

It’s not just blown air, it’s stored energy that provides safety, power and versatility.

But here’s the catch: A compressor is only as good as its filters and controls. Without the right setup, you risk moisture, oil, and particles damaging your tools or contaminating your products.

Aluminium or galvanised steel for compressed air piping?

It’s a question that comes up regularly when facilities are planning or upgrading compressed air systems.

Galvanised steel has been used for decades. It’s strong and handles high pressures well. But over time, corrosion inside the pipe can introduce rust and scale into the air supply, affecting tools, equipment, and air quality.

Aluminium piping systems are now common in new installations because they’re lighter, faster to install, corrosion-resistant, and easier to modify as facilities evolve.

Pipework often gets less attention than the compressor itself, but it plays a major role in system efficiency, air quality, and long-term maintenance costs.
