What a fantastic weekend away with the crew!

A huge thank you to APL and AGP Architectural Glass Products for your incredible hospitality and for taking the time to show us around. It was incredibly valuable to gain a deeper understanding of your operations, processes, innovation, and the people behind the products we work with every day. The knowledge shared and insights gained will be hugely beneficial for our team.

After the tours, the team enjoyed an action-packed day of drift karting, checking out some incredible classic cars, and exploring the spectacular Waitomo Caves. It was a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, strengthen team connections, share plenty of laughs, and create some great memories together.

A big weekend for the team but we’re back! Recharged and ready to go better than ever as we take what we’ve learned and continue building on the strong relationships and opportunities ahead.

Kennedy Aluminum is looking for a Class 2 Truck driver to deliver windows and doors across the central south island.

This is a hands-on driving role where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for transporting our products safely and efficiently to various sites, while also assisting with loading and unloading on delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving a Class 2 truck across the Central South Island
Delivering aluminium windows and doors to residential and commercial sites
Assisting with loading and unloading products (manual handling required)
Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in good condition
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and completing basic checks
Providing friendly and professional service to clients on site

What We’re Looking For:

Full Class 2 driver’s lisence (essential)
Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
Forklift experience preferred (or willing to obtain)
Good work ethic and reliability
Strong attention to detail and care with fragile products
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Previous delivery or transport experience preferred but not essential

The team swapped the workshop for the greens on Friday arvo.

Good laughs, a bit of friendly competition, and a few questionable bowls thrown in there 😅 Great way to finish the week with the crew!

WEBC had the pleasure in hosting Kennedy Aluminium yesterday for a social team building afternoon of bowls. A fantastic crew with a few potential bowlers amongst them.
