We are seeking applications from candidates who have:
* Skills and experience in general civil works, and drainage (desirable)
* Initiative, common sense, a positive attitude and work ethic
* Physical strength with full mobility and weigh less than 115kg (a health and safety requirement to use the weight-rated safety gear)
* Be able to work away from home occasionally.

MUST have a full current driver's licence and reside in NZ and be legally able to work in NZ.
Starting hourly rate is dependent on skills, qualifications and experience, ranging from $30-$50/hour.

In our line of work, which is essential but definitely not glamorous 💩 we don't often get thanked, so when a little cutie goes to the effort of creating a gem like this, we are delighted.
Location Palmerston North.
The residence had a manhole in their backyard, and we’ve been working in their property this week decommissioning a 600 diameter earthenware sewer that was laid in 1906.
The girl has been interested in watching us and enjoyed seeing the CCTV camera working inside the pipeline.

Due to an internal promotion we now have the following vacancy.....We are a small civil contracting business. Our work is specialised and carried out NZ-wide. This is an office-based role at our head office in Tuakau (2 exits south of Bombay). Due to the specialised nature of our work, there will be a significant learning period within the role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Processing and creating HSEQ documents for our jobs including JSEAs and Quality Plans
• Maintaining our existing HSEQ system and ISO accreditation
• Ensuring the HSEQ system, its processes, reporting and documentation is accurate and up to date
• Being the first point of contact for the external auditor and being primarily involved with the HSEQ audits
• Health and safety documentation for commercial contracts
• Being the first point of contact for incoming phone calls, visitors to the office
• General admin tasks
Relevant experience is ESSENTIAL

This is an office-based role at our head office in Tuakau.
Due to the specialised and bespoke nature of our work, there will be a significant learning period within the role.
You will need to be:
- Self motivated and disciplined
- In possession of excellent time management skills
- Keen to learn new methodologies and technologies
- Open to taking direction from the Operations Director on how to price work
- Proactive about following up with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing
- Accurate and proficient with Word, Excel and Project
- Organised and maintain a database on the current status of each job
- Able to assist operations teams with contract management and claims
- Able to prepare tender submissions
This is a minimum 45 hour per week salaried role. Salary range is $90,000 to $130,000 per annum based on your specific qualifications and experience. There may be other benefits.
