True craftsmanship in Whangamatā

This custom joinery project is a testament to thoughtful design, skilled craftsmanship, and the beauty of reusing existing materials. Mataī timber sourced from the property itself was carefully reclaimed and reimagined into a striking herringbone pivot door, exterior firewood storage door, and bespoke shed doors - each piece carrying the history and character of the home.

Mataī and Alder timber from the original property was also pressed into custom veneer panels, which were laminated in-house to create beautifully unique cabinetry throughout the space. This careful process allowed the natural character and story of the timber to be preserved and celebrated in every detail.

The result is a timeless design that blends sustainability, innovation, and true craftsmanship - transforming existing materials into something both meaningful and enduring.
