🌬️ Heads up Central Hawke’s Bay! 🟠
MetService has issued a Strong Wind Warning for Hawke’s Bay south of Hastings and the Tararua District. 💨
The warning is in place from 7pm tonight (Sunday) through to 5pm Monday, with westerly winds potentially gusting up to 120km/h in exposed spots.
Now’s a good time to get prepared if you need to — charge your devices and torches, secure anything loose around the place, check those trampolines, outdoor furniture and anything else that could end up down the road! 😅
There’s a chance of trees coming down and causing damage to powerlines, so we may see some outages across the region.
⚡ Our page is not monitored - If your power goes out, please report it to our faults line on 0800 NO POWER (0800 667 693).
Our faults crews will get out to outages when and where it’s safe to do so. 🌬️⚡
Stay safe, everyone — and batten down the hatches! 💨
Thank you , the Centralines team 💚
