Making old new again! 🛠️

We are in the midst of a big renovation at the moment. The boys have been finishing off the last bits of timber trims, and John has been meeting with subcontractors to sign off final details for the job.

It's all coming together and we cannot wait to share photos of this project when it's completed.

🌟Meet the team🌟

Hi, I'm Sean! I'm the project manager for Rag Reno's and a qualified carpenter. I joined the team in 2013.

You'll usually find me on-site, meeting with contractors, clients, and our team of builders. When I'm not on-site, I'm in the office with John, helping manage and coordinate various projects. I stay in touch with our clients throughout the project to ensure they're happy and informed.

When duty is not calling, I enjoy hunting, golfing with mates, and spending time with my wife and friends.

Hey, I’m Chris – I Joined Rag Reno’s in 2021 as a qualified builder and am now a site foreman. The values and standards that Rag Reno’s have really intrigued me when applying for this job.

I work closely with the team to ensure we get quality renovations done on time. That includes helping Sean organise jobs on site, as well as keeping the boys on track and co-ordinating with trades that come and go throughout projects.

When I am not at work, I enjoy gigs, action sports, and taking my kids on adventures.

Hey there, I’m Mike - I’ve been with the Rag Reno’s team since 2017, starting as a qualified carpenter and working my way up to site foreman.

Over the years, I’ve developed my skills and now coordinate all the materials and trades needed for each job. I’m on site full-time and stay in close contact with Sean, our project manager, to ensure everything runs smoothly. Watching a project come to life from start to finish is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

When I’m not on site, I love spending time with my wife and kids, playing golf, fishing, and watching sports.

Hi, I’m Ayden – I joined Rag Reno’s in 2020 as an apprentice. I heard that John was looking for an apprentice through one of his current workers and was immediately interested!

I am now one of the qualified builders on site, so I make sure the work is getting done on time and help our team complete top-notch builds.
I really enjoy the company of everyone here at Rag Reno’s. Being able to have fun while making sure we still get the mahi done is always a win.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy watching Auckland FC & spending time with my wife & son.

Kia ora, I’m Raiha – I am the office administrator here at Rag Reno’s. I respond to most of the business’s emails, ensure clients quotes and invoices get to them in time, & help John with other admin for the business.

I joined Rag Reno’s towards the start of 2024, just after Sarah gave birth to Lincoln. I met John at my parents gym, and he mentioned he was looking for someone to work in the office. I had just finished college and in search for a job which was perfect timing!

I'm enjoying my time here learning more about the building industry and teaching everyone gen-z slang😆

Hi, I'm Rory - I started my apprenticeship with Rag Reno's in January 2020 and I am now a qualified carpenter!
Before I started my apprenticeship I was working in the automotive industry and wanted to find a career I could advance further in.

I enjoy working with the rest of the Rag Reno’s team to contribute towards high quality builds/renovations.

When I'm not at mahi you'll find me spending time with my wife and whanau, watching the Warriors, working on my project car or off fishing/hunting 😁
