Some plumbers fix the immediate problem. The better ones look for what's causing it in the first place.

A leaking tap might be pressure related. A failed hot water system could be showing signs of a larger issue. Poor drainage might be the symptom, not the cause.

We see it all the time across jobs. Small plumbing issues that become expensive repairs because the underlying problem wasn't identified early.

For us, the goal isn't just to get things working again. It's to understand why the issue happened and help prevent it from happening again.

The fabrication, problem-solving, precision, and hands-on engineering work happening behind the scenes before anything ever reaches site.

At Northern Gas & Plumbing, our capability goes far beyond standard plumbing and gas fitting. With an in-house engineering and manufacturing division, we’re able to design, fabricate, modify, and build specialised components that support infrastructure, industrial, and commercial projects across New Zealand.
