Project complete at Stonedon Drive, Auckland!

We constructed a concrete pit for waste management using our innovative Alufix Lightweight Panels. ‍These panels are up to 40% lighter than any other system on the market, making installation a breeze! Plus, the Alcus plastic facing board provides a smooth finish, even after multiple uses.

The project was finished in record time, leaving our client feeling absolutely thrilled. Great work, team!

We had the pleasure of hosting Viktor Remel from MEVA Formwork Systems Germany at our head office over the last week. Viktor is Meva’s business development manager for Asia Pacific, and was here to learn about the New Zealand market and to understand how Meva can continue to support FormShore’s customers with their lightweight and efficient formwork systems.

State Highway 25A in Coromandel is now open!

Earlier this morning we opened the fully restored road and new bridge over the slip caused by the severe weather earlier this year.

We'd like to thank the community for its patience and support over the past few months, and give an especially big thanks to the many workers onsite and offsite, from on the ground in Coromandel to Napier where many parts of the bridge were prefabricated, for the tremendous effort they've put in to reopen the road well ahead of time.

If you're travelling to the Coromandel these holidays, traffic will be heavy. We need you to do your bit to keep everyone moving smoothly through the site—don't stop, stick to the speed limit, and travel safely through the site.

Lightweight AluFix panels combined with our SK150 brackets was the preferred combination for forming this 1500mm deep raft slab.

The 90lm of forms were built by hand in 2 days, advancing the clients programme and minimising crane time.

FormShore was proud to support Naylor Love's Movember fundraiser golf day last month. Not only did we sponsor hole 6 and set up a gazebo with pamphlets and refreshments, but we also fielded a team to participate in the event itself.

It was a great day of camaraderie and competition, and we were thrilled to be involved to help Naylor Love Canterbury raise over $60,000 for Movember, the leading charity changing the face of men's health.

Formshore won a portion of the formwork package on the Te Kaha stadium in Christchurch, where we supplied AluFix, StarTec and conventional column formwork. This has ultimately led to Formshore designing and supplying equipment for the superstructure construction, including propping for structural steel, precast floor units and in situ suspended slabs.

We're really happy to be a part of such an epic project, well done to everyone involved!

We're proud to have designed and supplied precast panel propping for the True Jesus Church in Christchurch. Using Shisham props and push pulls, we were able to provide our client with a safe and reliable solution for their project.

We are currently involved a project for a client on the West Coast down in the South Island, and Stage 1 saw the FormShore team develop a propping solution for Glulam columns that didn't require fixing straight to the timber. Our solution involved using a yoke designed using our Soldier beams, which allowed us to connect the props to the yoke rather than fix directly to the column.

The tie bars were specially coated to protect them from rust, which was a concern due to the salty environment of the site location. This coating also prevented the bars from staining the timber.

After successfully completing the Glulam column propping project, the same client asked us to design and supply a foundation beam formwork system. The physical demands of this site made our lightweight Alufix panels the ideal choice for the job! The client is very pleased with our product, stating that it's light and simple.

We're really proud of the completion of our first MevaDec suspended slab in the South Island, at a new winery barrel room in Cromwell. This innovative project demonstrates the versatility and flexibility of the MevaDec system, which can be used to create complex formwork solutions for a wide range of applications.

We've just supplied our AluFix formwork to a customer in Palmerston North. Two men built this 41m x 21m x 700mm formwork in just two days. The three-metre-long panels and our brace bracket 80 combine to create the most efficient and cost effective solution to forming large slabs. The panels are installed by hand and the site foreman said he couldn't believe how easy it was and that he will certainly be using our panels over timber shutters in the future.
