Lots of maintenance and building on two houses in Karaka Bay. We had 90mm over hang on roof. Spouting was not working. Packed out to allow new stormcloud spouting to work and now have 50mm iron overhang into new spouting. Perfect.

On the lower house, we made these stairs in the garage and installed onsite. Will carry on building the handrail and deck.
Stage one of the job is to allow the tenant to escape her rental when we rip into the leaky front deck and pull out the sliding doors. Craig Mahoney watertight solutions will be on the case.

Also the cabbage tree 🌳 root system in the photo has grown so big it has pushed the framing snd stringer to the ramp so much its hugging the cedar weatherboards and now we have rotten cedar. Cedar is on order thanks to my Rep Judith from Bunnings. We will remove the tree and reclaim the areas of concern and re frame the ramp.

I like the steps option, more work but less slippery.
