We’re looking for:

Experienced General Labourers

Skilled Excavator Operators (GPS experience an advantage)

EPL Construction would like to apologise to our valued Clients and any State Highway road users who were inconvenienced yesterday when one of our trucks lost a wheel.

The vehicle has since been recovered to our yard and inspected by a qualified transport engineer. Based on the findings, the most likely cause appears to be interference by a third party.

This is extremely distressing for us, as the incident not only put one of our team members at risk, but also posed a serious danger to innocent road users. We take this matter very seriously and are reviewing all possible security and safety measures to prevent anything like this from happening again.

The sunken boat was safely removed from the harbour but unfortunately not salvageable- the gulls will have to find a new home!

Congratulations to Waihi Junior Rugby U12's for winning Overall Best & Fairest Team and Champions in their grade in the unior Rugby Festival last week in Taupo.
EPL is so proud to have sponsored this junior team of passionate and talented rugby players from Waihi, with a few invitational stars from Whangamata.

We had a really special occasion yesterday at EPL.
Our team celebrated with Alan Roberts his 25 years of service with the company.
Al, commonly referred to as a "legend" is most definitely one of our greatest assets!
Always a gentleman, he brings his smile to work every day, and as the most experienced man on the team is still getting stuck into a hard day's work.
Al is a wealth of knowledge and great to have a yarn with, and when he's not at work his favorite thing to do is spend time with his family, especially his grandkids!
