We have always wanted to develop an affordable off the shelf intake manifold to replace the ugly plastic one that comes on the HR and VHR engines. It needs to flow as well as the factory one while being better looking and capable of handling high boost levels.

Here is an insight into some of the R&D we have invested into this project so far. This concept ticked some of the boxes but flowed a fair bit worse than the OEM manifold with a loss of around 13whp. For now, back to the drawing board.

This customer was looking for a quieter option to our 350Z resonated V1 dual exit.
Using two AdrenalinR dual pass resonators, this is what we came up with. It connects straight to the V1's mid pipe V band and uses all three inch tubing exiting through our four inch slash cut tips.

A bit of an update on this long term sequential twin turbo 350Z project.

We just wrapped up fabrication on the twin turbo kit, intake manifold, catch can and various other parts. Along with making a new full engine loom for the Haltech 2500 in order to use a host of additional sensors.
Following that, we have plumbed the car with AN fitting where possible to make it easy to work on with a lower chance of leaks.

The interior also got one of our bolt in cages with bucket seats and IC7 dash.

Next is to get her all dialed in on the dyno🔥

Another big build we have just had the opportunity to complete.This 350Z was brought to us completely stock with the goal of max power on pump fuel.

With that in mind, we decided to build the engine, then install one of our top mount single turbo kits along with a custom fuel return kit. All to be controlled by a Link G4X standalone ECU.
With that sorted it was time to hit the dyno at Pulse Performance for engine run in and power tune.

The final numbers being 539WHP on low boost (15psi)
592whp on high boost (20psi)

Parts used as follows:

-TMR top mount turbo kit with a Pulsar 6862G and PWR intercooler

-TMR four port oil catch can kit

-6an fuel return kit with Turbosmart regulator & filter, Walbro 525LPH fuel pump and 1000cc injectors.

-TMR 19 row oil cooler kit

-Engine rebuild with Eagle rods, Wiseco 8.8:1 CR pistons, arp studs, Dynosty HR head gaskets, Tomie 272 cams, JWT valve springs and retainers, uniclutch twin plate clutch, ATI super damper crank pulley, new timing set and water pump.

-Standalone LinkG4X plug in ECU

-Modified VHR exhaust manifolds with DE flanges

-Fenix radiator

-BC Gold coilovers

-GKtech engine mounts

-New CD00A Nissan 6 speed transmission

After running our off the shelf single turbo kit for two years, this customer decided they wanted more power from their auto 370Z without going to E85.

We rebuild the engine with forged 9.0:1CR pistons and rods along with upgraded head gaskets and studs to handle all the power we could make on pump fuel. We also sourced and fitted a VR30 7 speed transmission to bulletproof the drivetrain.

For performance upgrades, we fabricated a new hot side to accommodate the larger Pulsar 6870 turbocharger, fitted our fuel return system with walbro 525LPH pump and turbosmart regulator, upgraded the intercooler core and added a water m**h kit.

The results were 632whp and 544ft/lbs with the limiting factor being intake air temperature on the dyno.

When a customer askes what we recommend for the ultimate 370Z/GT dual exit setup, this is the answer:

Our equal length headers➡️high flow cats➡️oval resonated Y pipe➡️resonated mid pipe➡️muffled axle backs.

100% NZ made using only the best resonators and mufflers.

A bit of a change from the usual VQ work this week. Just wrapped up fabrication of the stainless hot side on this jet boat engine using a Pulsar 6262G turbo and Turbosmart 50mm wastegate. This package should make 8-900hp on m**hanol.

Som**hing different finished up today for a NZ customer. A custom lower half with velocity stacks to adapt a Holley high ram upper intake to a VQ35DE.
