Feature stairs in commercial environments are rarely just about the stair.
On the BNZ project at 80 Queen Street, the brief was simple on paper, connect two levels.
In reality, it sat right in the middle of structure, finishes, compliance, sequencing, and live site constraints.
This is where these elements tend to come unstuck when they’re split across multiple trades. Small gaps in coordination turn into programme delays, cost creep, and compromises on the final result.
Our approach is to bring the entire scope under one package, resolving the junctions between base build and finished elements early, and delivering it as a coordinated outcome on site.
The result is a clean connection between levels that does exactly what it’s meant to do, without the noise that usually comes with it.
More of these opportunities are starting to show up across the CBD as buildings are repositioned and upgraded. Worth getting them right early.
