Yard Life - Henderson edition (where the sun always shines)

22/09/2026

Turns out we actually clean up alright! We had a great time at the 2026 Northland Forestry Awards on Friday night. It was an honour to stand behind Luke Morunga as our nominee for the Distribution & Log Truck Driver Excellence Award, celebrating an incredible 21 years with Crofts. Huge congrats to the winner, KJ Murray—an absolute legend in the industry and a well-deserved win! 🪵🙌
We also loved seeing our GM, Felice, on stage presenting the Croft Poles & Timber Primary Wood Processing Excellence Award. Shoutout to Scott Gage (Putts) from Rosvall Sawmill for taking home the prize! We're looking forward to restarting the Rosvalls v Crofts touch tourney this summer!
Cheers to everyone who made it such a memorable night out with our peers!

Annual Daffodil Tourny at Hikurangi Golf Club

10/09/2026

We were stoked to once again support the annual Daffodil Day Tournament at Hikurangi Golf Club a few weeks back.
This year Maddy Towgood represented Crofts at the Port & Cheese stand - always a popular stop for the golfers!

First BBQ with Carters Building Supplies done and dusted! 🪵
From a 4:00 am wake-up to polish the Croft BBQ trailer, to a big 7:00 am hungry crowd rolling in, it was an awesome team effort all around (with a little help from JT's two boys!).
Nothing beats getting out there, having a feed, and connecting with the people we work with. 🙌
Big thanks to Conrad and the Carters Onehunga team for having us down on Friday.
See you all soon for the Croft Poles & Timber product knowledge session! 🛠️

🎉 110 YEARS OF CROFT POLES & TIMBER! 🎉
From a humble native kauri mill in Opuawhanga back in 1916 to a thriving modern operation, we are officially celebrating 110 years in business! It all started with Jim Bisset, and through decades of hard work, grit, and dedication, the Croft family legacy grew. Today, we are proud to be led by our 5th generation, keeping the same family values alive that started it all over a century ago.
Over the coming months, we will be sharing our journey with you—including interviews, old photos, and stories from the people who made us who we are today. Thank you to our past and present team, customers, and community for being part of our history. 🪵
