Blast from the past. If you are a Whangarei local you may recognize this building. Recently Oceania, but was formally Flyghtship in Lower Port Road. Young Aaron and a team of chaps who weren't worried about heights clad it in the late 90s. The team trained with mountain climbing equipment, enabling them to self rescue especially for the occasion. Long before the days of hours and hours of H&S paperwork.🤭

What an honor to give this historic New Zealand steam ship a little TLC. A credit to RealNZ for striving to keep her so well maintained and authentic. History is being preserved by their fantastic team. ❤️

Yes we did go to work in a helicopter!! Following on with the NZ historical theme this month, Tradeline once again visited Cape Brett with the new windows made in our workshop. There will be a post on the remake of the windows with photos soon.💪

Some of the Tradeline team traveled to Queenstown recently and prepared the slip for the TSS Earnslaws annual haul out.

Its Vittoris last day to day. He is off over the ditch, and we are really going to miss him. He has been a model employee and 'one' of our favourite sons. 🥰Enjoy the adventure V.

In 2007 a Tradeline team went to Cape Brett and had a small part in the joinery refurbishment of the northern side of the lighthouse. A few weeks ago we were back removing the east side windows of the lighthouse.
All the windows removed are no longer able to be reinstalled and are being remade with traditionally with Rosewood.
