Meet the Kaumatua Energy Team!
We’re a small but mighty crew of six based in Northland working hard behind the scenes to bring you the best electricity prices on the market.
Officially, Harry and Sourabh are the bosses – but it’s really the other four that keep the place running.
You may have spoken to the wonderful Tess and Corrine over the phone... They're in charge of customer services.
Mayur heads our sales and marketing while Khushnoor ensures everything is running smoothly in IT.
As our client base grows - so will our team. Watch this space!

Meet the Founders Harry Singh and Sourabh Sahni

Kaumatua Energy was born out of a simple but powerful idea - that electricity should be affordable for everyone.

It all started with Harry, a Northland businessman with a big heart for the community. Originally from India, Harry has made New Zealand his home for twenty years and has fallen in love with Northland - its people, the lifestyle and its spirit.

Harry’s background is in the hospitality industry. He owns two bars in Whangarei and recently took over ownership of Collards Tavern, Muscle Rock and Gecko Café in Kaitaia.

Through the trust, Kaitaia Whānau in Need , Harry began donating heaters, blankets and slippers to those in need. That sparked the idea to make power more affordable to keep homes warm.

Harry reached out to Sourabh, who's also from India. Sourabh has experience in the energy sector as the director of Manage My Bills. He also worked for Genesis Energy.

Sharing the same vision, they joined forces to create Kaumatua Energy.
