🇲🇾🇴🇲 Celebrating a New Chapter in Malaysia–Oman Partnership

National Gas Company (NGC) proudly celebrates its subsidiary, NGC Energy Sdn. Bhd. (NGC Energy Malaysia), as it marks a new chapter in the longstanding business partnership between Malaysia and Oman.

Held on 20 October 2026 at the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur, the event, “NGC Energy: A New Chapter – Strengthening Our Partnership, Shaping Our Future Together” brought together representatives of NGC Oman, Perangsang Oil and Gas Sdn Bhd (POGSB), shareholders, business leaders and invited guests to reaffirm their commitment to continued collaboration and future growth.

The occasion also marked a new phase in NGC Energy Malaysia’s shareholder structure , following the exit of Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (KPS) and the entry of Rasmadi Corporation, part of the Manjaran Group. With Mutiara Perlis also within the Manjaran Group and involved in key developments in Perlis, including the Perlis Inland Port, the new shareholder structure opens potential strategic opportunities for NGC Energy Malaysia in the logistics landscape.

The event was graced by H.E. Eng. Hatim Hilal Ali Al Yaqoubi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Malaysia, alongside the Chairmen of both shareholders and NGC Energy Malaysia’s leadership team.

Established in 2012, NGC Energy Malaysia has served as a vital business link between Oman and Malaysia. As we celebrate 14 years of partnership in 2026, NGC remains committed to strengthening cross-border cooperation, fostering strategic partnerships and advancing opportunities in the energy sector.
