ROV Inspections – SubSea – Services. Fixed, floating objects – Ships – MODU’s
Speciific client requirements for ROV and underwater ship hull (UHI) inspections regarding:
Ship time charter entry; resulting in the ship owner’s and T/Ch’s requirement for confirmation of surface hull condition regarding the attainable minimum ship hull speed (“Eco Speed”) within the time charter party clause/s;
Within
the time charter period, ship develops loss of speed below charter party minimum, ship owner’s and T/Ch’s require confirmation of underwater hull surface condition – possibly fouled;
Suspected hull damage. The ROV can quantify known/ suspected damages whether on outer hull and / or the inside of ships water ballast tanks, full of operational ballast water; No delays:
In waiting at inner anchorage for dive boat;
to empty tanks, gas free them in readiness for inspection;
Inspection of water ballast/ fresh water tanks whilst tanks are in operation and full. Ultimately saving time and money. Carrying out inspection whilst sailing;
Thickness gauging of ships hulls and internal structures within full operational WB tanks; Presently undergoing DNV.GL Class Society approval;
Pre /Post purchase underwater hull inspection – confirm condition;
Confirm condition after hull repairs, for owners / time charterers. Presently undergoing DNV.GL Class Society approval;
Underwater hull inspections for suspected parasitic devices, stowage of narcotics. Regarding ISPS Code;
Salvage usage; assessing hull damage;
Cleaning of ships propellers, rudders and hulls. Refers to initial point;
Inspecting ports, harbour and pier structures – fixed and or floating, including navigational buoys;
Hull cleaning with divers and work boat.
