🇵🇪 SOVEREIGN COPPER – PREPARING THE FIRST MINERAL FOR PROCESSING! 🚜

Another productive weekend at our Sovereign Copper Project in the Caravelí region of southern Peru!

Following substantial earthworks and road clearance, access to the property has now been significantly improved to accommodate 20-tonne trucks and heavier equipment.

With access improvements completed, work is now turning towards preparing the first 1,000 tonnes of copper-bearing material for transportation to Chala for processing.

Much of this mineral has been sitting untouched for around 50 years, and we’re now taking the practical steps needed to recover and process it.

It’s encouraging to see this long-overlooked resource finally receiving attention, with real progress being made on the ground.

🇵🇪 SOVEREIGN COPPER – FIRST STEPS TOWARDS MINERAL RECOVERY! 🚜

Another important step forward at our Sovereign Copper Project in the Caravelí region of southern Peru.

Yesterday, our backhoe began clearing and improving access to the site, preparing the way for trucks, equipment and the next stage of operations.

Our immediate priority is to prepare the first 1,000 tonnes of copper-bearing material for transportation to Chala for processing.

Meanwhile, plans are progressing to refurbish and install our own 60-tonne-per-day processing facility on-site.

It’s still early days, but after several weeks of preparation, it’s good to see the machinery on the ground and the project moving forward.
